LG 50PG30 is a 50 inch 1080p plasma TV that offers good quality. As you will see from the reviews, it is not great nor very good, but just good. There are other plasma TVs that offer much better quality, including some from LG, but for its price, LG 50PG30 can be a good choice for the not too pretentious buyer. Though out of the box it’s colors aren’t accurate, after calibrating it, you can improve them. The black levels of LG 50PG30 are average, some of the competing models performing much better in this area. It has good SD processing, enough connectivity options for most home theater setups and a nice design.
Coming with an integrated DVD player, LG 32LG40 LCD TV offers great convenience. As you will see from the reviews, it offers a pretty good quality as well. While its black levels dont match those of competing LCD TVs, it does have good color accuracy and an extensive array of picture controls. On the not so bright side, aside from the not so great black levels, it has a relativelly poor performance when displaying standard definition (SD) content and its image changes when viewed from an angle (a problem some LCDs have more than others). Its screen has a 720p resolution, bu this really isn’t a problem considering the size of this LCD TV.
